Design GPS: Where the Hell Is Your Style Going in 2025?

1.Scandinavian Style — No Longer Hygge, More Like “My Ex’s Apartment”

Then came 2025 — and we realized: style isn’t a vibe. It’s a pulse.A protest. A bit of plot.This isn’t a rant about what’s wrong.
This is about what doesn’t click anymore. And why that’s not a crisis — it’s clarity.

It used to be therapy. White walls. Soft woods. Air and calm. But then came the influencer version: beige-on-beige with an overpriced IKEA coffee table. Now? Every apartment looks the same — as if your gluten-free friend decorated it from Instagram.

The charm is gone. What’s left is a soft, polite silence. A design that apologizes for existing.

What’s missing? Atmosphere. Accidents. Flaws. Humanity.

🧠 Want to reset your scandi compass? Look Swedish interiors from the 1960s. There was color. Edge. Weirdness. Not this “beige noise” we’re sold today.

Before beige took over: a visual trip to when Scandinavian interiors still had a pulse.

2.Industrial Loft — Rebellion Rebranded as a Coworking Space

Once upon a time, artists in New York squatted in abandoned factories. Brick walls. High ceilings. Poverty and poetry.

Now? It’s “exposed” pipes in a nail salon in Ohio. Fake brick wallpaper. LED strips.

We wanted raw — but ended up with a Pinterest template. The edge is gone. The risk too.

The loft was a space of rebellion, defying both rules and noise. It’s now a cosplay for freedom, where even the concrete looks suspiciously polished.

3. Boho — From Free Spirit to Structured Shopping List

Boho used to mean barefoot artists and mismatched magic. Now it’s a formula: macramé, dried flowers, rattan. All bought new, with express delivery.

There’s no story — just styling. There’s no story — just styling.

Boho became an instruction manual: buy two cacti, put a copper candlestick, throw a pillow with a pattern. And that was it.
His wildness became decorative. Its chaos became symmetrical.

This style was supposed to be without rules, but now it’s just a different formula. The spirit has not died, it has just become quieter.
